In the 17th day of the attacks against popular self-rule resistance in Şırnak's Cizre district, state forces continue terrorizing people under an uninterrupted aggression.

A man by the name of Kazım Tong was shot by special operation police while taking his children home from a neighbor in Nur neighborhood today noon.

Shot by a bullet in the head, the man was heavily wounded as a result of the deliberate armed attack. Residents managed to take him to Cizre State Hospital where he has lost his life soon later.

Nur and Cudi neighborhoods remain under bombardment by tanks deployed around the Garrison Command and Hill Cahferi Sadık.
