Manbij Political Council pays Eid visit to displaced locals

Manbij Political Council has paid a visit to the displaced people from Manbij and celebrated their Eid Al-Fitr.

As the operation to liberate Manbij continues on its 36th day, Manbij Political Council also continues its works serving the local population aggrieved by two and a half years of ISIS occupation.

In addition to giving a hand-to-hand struggle against ISIS gangs as they advance towards the city center, Manbij Military Council fighters are transferring the civilian people living in the city center to safe areas. The needs of these people are later met by the Manbij Political Council that continues its efforts for the aggrieved and displaced people since the very first day the military campaign began, June 1st.

Manbij Political Council members have today visited the Manbij residents that managed to get out of the city, celebrated their Eid Al-Fitr and distributed them food and drink.

Manbij people thanked and prayed for the combatants that saved them from ISIS atrocity under which they were subjected to a never-ending torture. People also voiced happiness for celebrating this Eid freely.

Manbij Political Council member Emine Yusuf also spoke here, stressing that Manbij will be handed over to its people as a liberated land.
