HPG Media Center announced that many soldiers were killed and 5 guerrillas were martyred during the ongoing clashes in Hakkari’s Çukurca district. HPG guerrillas also carried out an action against an armored vehicle in Dersim, and an ISIS gang was killed in Kirkuk.

CLASHES IN ÇUKURCA CONTINUE

HPG Media Center recalled that intense clashes had broken out near Ertuş Castle in Hakkari’s Çukurca district after Turkish warplanes bombarded the region around 16:00 on September 3. Many soldiers were killed and injured during the clashes, which continued when Turkish soldiers infiltrated Ertuş castle. 14 soldiers were killed during the latter clashes in the castle, and the Turkish army continues to shell and bombard the region.

5 GUERILLAS MARTYRED

5 guerrillas fell as martyrs during the clashes in Çukurca, and Turkish warplanes continue to bombard the region. Clashes intensified near the Martyr Neval hill around 04:00 on September 5, and Turkish soldiers unable to make advances bombard the region from a distance.

Guerrillas carried out an action against the soldiers positioned on Güvenlik hill on the morning of September 4, and the number of dead and injured soldiers couldn't be clarified.

HPG added that they lost communications with a unit of guerrillas at Martyr Neval Hill during the ongoing clashes.

ACTION IN DERSİM

Guerrillas carried out an action against an armored vehicle in the Ecevit neighborhood of Dersim’s Pülümür district at 16:15 on September 4, and the number of dead and injured soldiers couldn't be clarified.

AERIAL ACTIVITY IN GARE

HPG stated that Turkish warplanes bombarded the Gundê Remo, Gundê Bakırman and Deşta Nehlê neighborhoods in Garê region of Medya Defense Zones’ between 12:30 and 14:30 on September 4, and destroyed civilians’ gardens.

1 ISIS MEMBER KILLED IN KIRKUK

Lastly, HPG stated that 1 ISIS member was killed as a result of an assassination action by guerrillas against gang groups in an area between Nevafıl and Vestan villages of Kirkuk at 18:00 on September 4.
