Turkish sources claim that 1 soldier and 3 village guards were killed, but local sources report the death toll to be much higher. HPG has not yet made a statement on the clashes.
Yesterday, YPS General Coordination had announced that 2 armored vehicles were destroyed and several police officers were killed during a YPS action in Van’s İpekyolu district on August 29.
