MAXMUR

The hunger strike launched in the Martyr Rustem Cudi Refugee Camp is on day 37.

The 13th group has taken over the hunger strike following a press statement today in Maxmur.

Evin Tayboga said they salute the hunger strike activists protesting the isolation and added: “Leader Apo has been in the Imrali Island for years under strict isolation conditions. All Kurdish people and their allies should take to the streets to break the isolation imposed upon Leader Apo and raise the resistance everywhere.”

Tayboga added: “Protests continue in various areas to break the isolation. The hunger strike in Maxmur will continue until the isolation imposed upon Leader Apo is broken.”

SHENGAL

The hunger strike launched in Khanasor, Shengal is on day 16. The Yazidi Youth Union (YCE) and Yazidi Young Women's Union (YCJE) members have taken over the hunger strike.

Individuals and representatives from institutions attend the protest daily.
