Military operation and curfew in Mardin countryside
A curfew has been imposed on villages and hamlets in Nusaybin and Ömerli districts of Mardin as part of a military operation.
The governor of Mardin has imposed a curfew on two villages and two hamlets in the district of Ömerli and on the villages of Bizgûr and Kuriksitilîle and the hamlets of Serînkaya and Eroğlu in the district of Nusaybin.
A large-scale military operation is taking place in the region. These operations are repeatedly associated with severe attacks on the population during village raids.
