Minesweeping continues in liberated areas in Shengal
Minesweeping efforts continue in areas liberated in the Operation to Avenge Êzidî Women in Shengal. A total of 103 mines have been defused up to date.
YBŞ/YJŞ fighters continue their minesweeping efforts in the area cleared from gangs during the ongoing operation launched 5 days ago.
The minesweeping efforts have continued for 3 days. 50 mines have been defused in the Sekineye Hayale front and 53 in the Sewra front. There is a booby trapped tanker among the defused mines.
