Manbij Military Council commander Mazlum Suwar Minbic spoke to ANF on the attack the Turkish army and affiliate gang groups carried on Manbij.

Suwar Minbic stated that Turkish soldiers and gang groups attacked areas yesterday that had been liberated with the blood of martyrs, and the attacks aiming to occupy the region continue today.
Minbic said "We will not abandon this region to the Turks or ISIS gangs. We will not abandon this region until the last one of us remains alive." Suwar Minbic noted that the Turkish army is attacking with heavy weaponry and warplanes, but suffered many casualties when Manbij Military Council fighters responded to Turkish soldiers and affiliate gang groups. Minbic said "They retreated after receiving a blow. We seized their ammunition and our comrades seized one of their tanks."

Commander Mazlum Suwar Minbic announced that the Turkish army is currently shelling the region, during which many civilians were injured and damaged.
