More Arab youths join the ranks of YPG in Efrîn

The first group of Arab fighters have finished the “Martyr Feyrûz” training cycle at Martyr Xebat Military Academy in Efrîn Canton of Rojava, West Kurdistan.

The first group of Arab fighters have finished the “Martyr Feyrûz” training cycle at Martyr Xebat Military Academy in Efrîn Canton of Rojava, West Kurdistan.

34 fighters were provided with military and ideological lessons during the 15 days of training cycle which was finalized with a closing ceremony today. Families of graduating combatants, YPG/YPJ commanders and Council of Defense Co-President Ebdo Ibrahîm joined the military ceremony.

Speaking here, Ebdo Ibrahîm put emphasis on the importance of Arab youths' participation in the ranks of People's Defense Units (YPG). Describing the Arab folk as an essential part of the mosaic structure in Rojava, Ibrahîm said it was the Arab people's own responsibility to take part in the defense of their living areas.

Council of Defense Co-President also pointed out that enemy forces are recently making efforts to create a conflict in order to undermine the common life in the region.
