Şara Cedan was shot by Turkish soldiers alongside her two kids, Xelef Ehmed (4) and Şehed Mecid Ehmed, as they wanted to cross the Rojava border into Bakurê (Northern) Kurdistan the night before.

The woman was heavily wounded while her both kids died in the armed attack. Found by YPG fighters in Nestel village, 60 km southwest of Serêkaniyê, the woman was rushed to hospital where she has lost her life on Wednesday.
