HDP members visited Emine Şenyaşar, who continues her resistance in front of the courthouse in Urfa. Şenyaşar is protesting the murder of her husband and two sons by the bodyguards and relatives of AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız.
The sit-in protest launched by Emine Şenyaşar together with her son Ferit Şenyaşar in protest at the triple murder of her husband Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar and her sons Adil and Celal Şenyaşar by the bodyguards and relatives of AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız continues in front of the courthouse in Urfa before the hearing to be held tomorrow.
The family's request to meet with the Chief Public Prosecutor has not been accepted until now.
'WE ARE HERE UNTIL OUR REQUEST IS MET'
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Urfa MP Ayşe Sürücü, provincial branch co-chair Çiğdem Karakeçili and Peace Mother Hedle Oğur visited Emine Şenyaşar and her son today. Speaking during the visit, Emine Şenyaşar said that they will continue their sit-in until their demands are met.
Şenyaşar said, “They killed my family and arrested my son who has been kept in solitary confinement for 3 years. We request a meeting but the prosecutor does not meet with us. They killed my husband and children in front of my eyes in the hospital. Why don't they reveal the hospital records? I will not leave here until justice is done. I want those who murdered my children to be arrested."
