Syrian Democratic Council condemned the attacks of the Turkish state, and said they will not remain silent on the occupation and violation of their land.
Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) released a written statement regarding the Turkish state's occupation and human rights violations on Syria-Turkey border, and last night's bombardment of Turkish helicopters in the rural areas of the Çilaxa town.
The Council pointed out that Turkish helicopters flew over the oil wells to the north of Rimêlan and bombarded the Til Meshen village of Çilaxa town at random at a time when preparations are made for the Astana meeting and a ceasefire in Syria under the leadership of Turkey and Russia is discussed.
MSD said: “In the mentioned region, there exists no terrorist element that the fascist Erdoğan administration could point as an excuse to its inhuman attacks and border violations. The Turkish government's open occupation of Syrian lands before the eyes of the world, numerous rights violations against Northern Syria soil and continued attacks raise a question mark in minds. These attacks reveal the presence of new occupation plans of the Turkish state which announces at every opportunity that they have various plans on Syria. With these attacks, the Turkish state means to inflict a blow against the democratic resolution project represented by Northern Syria Democratic Federal System."
MSD condemned the Turkish state's attacks against Syria and Rojava, stressing that their forces will not remain silent in the face of these attacks, and will respond to them.
Syrian Democratic Council emphasized that they are more insistent than ever on a decentralized democratic Syria that can secure the rights of all peoples, adding: “As all the decisions we make base on the will of our peoples that will never go down in defeat, we will accept no single outsider decision that will effect the national decisions and the future of peoples.”
