Newroz fire lit on Mishtenur hill in Kobanê
Newroz celebrations in Kobanê began on Mishtenur hill. The celebration area at Mishtenur has been decorated with YPG-YPJ flags and the posters of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
People of Kobanê gathered at Mishtenur hill for the celebration of Kurdish New Year Newroz. Northern Syria Federation Assembly Co-president Mensûr El-Selûm, Kobanê Canton administration committee and representatives from the Democratic Autonomy administrations of Manbij, Girê Spî and Kobanê are attending the celebration here.
Thousands of people continue to celebrate Newroz at Mishtenur hill.
