AMBULANCES OF VOLUNTEER MEDICS ‘CONFISCATED’
Ambulances of Cizre Municipality’s medics, who have been trying to retrieve the wounded people, were prevented by state forces with the excuse of ‘an armed confrontation.’ State forces also confiscated the ambulances that belong to the Turkish Medical Association (TTB) and the Trade Union of Public Employees in Health and Social Services (SES) at the entrance of Cizre with the excuse that these ambulances did not have the necessary documentation. The Turkish government is yet to respond to the call of HDP Co-President Selahattin Demirtaş, who had declared in Mardin that he and several volunteer medics wanted to go into Cizre and retrieve the wounded people. Volunteer medics from TTB and SES will try to enter Cizre, and Botan protestors who had been holding a resistance vigil in Nusaybin will walk to Cizre once again today.
NO NEWS FROM THE SECOND BASEMENT FOR TWO DAYS
