The Northern and Eastern Syrian Democratic Autonomous Administration delegation visited the Tevgera Azadi offices in Sulaimaniyah as part of their series of meetings in Bashur.
The Northern and Eastern Syrian Democratic Autonomous Administration delegation were received by a committee headed by Tevgera Azadi Co-chair Mihemed Abdullah.
PYD Co-chair Shahoz Hesen spoke to RojNews about the meeting and said, “The gains in Rojava are very important for the Kurdish people. We spoke about how we will defend the gains in Rojava in the meeting. The people of Bashur are going through a delicate process. We spoke about what we will be doing to put forth a joint stance in the face of developments. The Turkish state and other invaders continue to attack Kurdistan. That is why we think Kurds putting forth a joint stance against the invasion is important.”
Tevgera Azadi Co-chair Mihemed Abdullah said, “Bashur is subjected to invasion attacks on one hand and on the other, the cultivated lands of the farmers are set on fire to starve Kurds. We believe these attacks are a result of plans made over Kurdistan. We must all object to these plans together.”
The Northern and Eastern Syrian Democratic Autonomous Administration delegation has been in Bashur since June 12 and has held meetings with the Goran Movement, KDP, PUK, Yekgirtu and Kurdistan Labourers Party. The meetings will continue today.
