Manbij Military assembly launched an operation to liberate the city of Manbij invaded by ISIS gangs in 2014. 

The operation started in two branches. The first branch took off from Xirbet Zemala village to the west of Rojava (Tishrîn) Dam, the second from Hac Elo and Hemam Zeğir (Küçük) villages by the Sacur river. The liberation operation had another branch that took off from the Qereqozak battlefront.

* Manbij Military Assembly fighters mobilized for the liberation maneuver are on their way to control the Mustefa Hemadê village to the southeast of Tishrîn Dam and the strategic hills around it.

* Looking to stop their advance, ISIS gangs started attacking Manbij Military Assembly fighters with missiles and mortars. In retaliation, the first branch of the operation hit ISIS positions around Mustefa Hemadê village with heavy weapons.

* The fighters took control in several important positions despite the efforts by the gangs. Many gang members were killed in the clashes in Mustefa Hemadê village and weapons and ammunition was confiscated by the fighters.

* Both branches of the operation advanced to a 10 km area and cleared several strategic points off the gangs.

* The first branch of the operation surrounded and hit the Halûl, Til Eriş and Sikawiyê villages to the north of Tishrîn Dam with heavy weapons.

* ISIS gangs had torn down the bridges over the Euphrates River to stop the Manbij Military Assembly fighters’ advance. The fighters crossed the river in small boats instead.

* Manbij Military Assembly fighters crossing the river in small boats cleared the area known as El Şamiye and Girê Xwedê Mountains off ISIS gangs. The fighters continue their advance with a high morale.

* ISIS gangs suffering a great blow by the Manbij Military Assembly are employing different tactics. ISIS gangs light fires, set fields on fire and burn tires to protect themselves from fighter jets and scout planes.

* In the Manbij region liberation operation launched on June 1st, Manbij Military Assembly fighters have liberated Xirbet Rûs village. Many gang members were killed in the clashes in Xirbet Rûs village to the southwest of Tışrîn Dam. 15 bodies are in possession of the Manbij Military Assembly fighters. The fighters also seized large amounts of military equipment.

*In the Manbij Military Assembly liberation operation, 2 more villages by the Euphrates River were liberated from ISIS gangs. Fighters in the Manbij Military Assembly liberated Xirbet El Eşra village 10 km west of the Euphrates and Wexfiye Ebu Qelqel village 3 km to the river.

THE CHILDREN OF MANBIJ: OUR PEOPLE WILL BE FREE!

Fighters from the constituents of the Manbij Military Assembly say the ISIS invasion of the city will be ended and as the children of Manbij, they will save the people.

The fighters are of Arab, Kurdish, Turkmen and Circassian origins and say that their sole target will be ISIS gangs and others with the blood of the people of Manbij on their hands.

Manbij Military Assembly fighters called for young women and men from Manbij to join the Manbij Military Assembly and fight against the ISIS gangs.
