Öcalan's message to be announced in Amed today

Details of the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's meeting with his brother Mehmet Öcalan on İmralı Island yesterday will be announced in Amed today.

Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's brother Mehmet Öcalan, who visited him on İmralı Island yesterday after months of denial of communication, has left Istanbul for Amed alongside a lawyer from Asrın Law Office that advocates the Kurdish leader.

Details of yesterday's meeting will be announced after a meeting with participants of the hunger strike today.

Mehmet Öcalan was granted access to İmralı Prison by the Ministry of Justice yesterday. He returned from the island in the evening, and left for Istanbul from Gemlik Gendarme Command without making any statement to the press. Mehmet Öcalan later met with Asrın Law Office lawyers at night and told them about the details of their meeting. Lawyer Mazlum Dinç from Asrın Law Office flew to Amed with Mehmet Öcalan Monday morning.

Mehmet Öcalan and Mazlum Dinç will meet with the participants of the hunger strike ongoing in DBP Headquarters in Amed today.

Öcalan and Dinç will tell the hunger strikers about the meeting, the details of which will be announced to the public later.
