In Nusaybin district of Mardin where the curfew remains, police and special operation teams attacked the Fırat (Koçeran) neighborhood with arms last night.

50 years old civilian Ahmet Sönmez was killed while in his house, and another civilian, 75 years old Musa Akçin, was wounded in the attack.

It is reported that local people cannot reach body of the slain civilian due to the ongoing threat of snipers.

In the meantime, a delegation involving HDP Mardin deputy Enise Güneyli and HDP Mardin deputy candidate Erol Gürel are being denied access into the district by police forces.
