Two armored vehicles of the police hit people walking on the street at two different locations in Van province yesterday evening. The incidents on İki Nisan Avenue and Edremit's TOKİ area left Saim Uçan (28) dead at the scene and 5 other people injured, including Abdulhalit Taş (22) who remains in critical condition. Four other injured civilians also continue receiving treatment at hospital.

Relatives of Uçan and injured residents stated that the incident was no accident but a deliberate case.
