Turkish soldiers opened fire on and raided a house in Hazro and detained Yahya Tekin, Mulkiye Tekin and their 2 year old daughter Roza Tekin. Another man named Abdullah Daslik was also detained in another house.
Turkish soldiers carried out an operation in the Çitlibahçe (Helhel) neighborhood in the rural areas of Amed’s Hazro district late at night. The neighborhood was bombed by helicopters and ntense clashes broke out in the region.
OPENED FIRE, RAIDED, TRAMPLED THE QORAN
Military units first opened fire on and then raided the house where the Tekin family resided in the neighborhood. Turkish soldiers detained Yahya Tekin, Mulkiye Tekin and their 2 year old daughter Roza Tekin. Bullet holes can be seen on the walls of the house still, and reports say the soldiers tore out and trampled the Qoran Mulkiye Tekin was holding at the time of the detention.
Soldiers detained another man named Abdullah Daslik in a raid on another house.
The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) sent a committee to the area and is inspecting the neighborhood.
