Protests on Turkey’s isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and occupation of Rojava continue.

Hundreds of people from Til Koçer gathered in front of the Science and Enlightenment Academy and marched in order to protest the isolation and occupation. The protesters carried posters of Öcalan, YPG, YPJ and TEV-DEM.

'DON’T ALLOW SYRIA TO BECOME A CEMETARY'

Til Koçer Assembly Co-President Newaf Xedan addressed the protestors in the town center and condemned the Turkish state’s occupation of Rojava. Xedan called upon the people of Turkey to pressure their government and force it to give up on its occupation.

Xedan called upon everyone to not allow Syria to become a cemetery, and said that they were not terrorists but a peace-loving people that would defend itself against any occupant force.

DEMAND FOR ÖCALAN’S FREEDOM

Lastly, Til Koçer Assembly Co-President Newaf Xedan demanded the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and saluted the resistance of Rojava fighters.
