'WE WILL NOT REMAIN SILENT'

A statement was read out on behalf of the PKK Martyrs' Families Committee during the action, saying the following:

“Today, we are here to remember martyr Şükrü who devoted his whole life to the revolution and protection of the gains of the martyrs. Although 92 days have passed since his martyrdom, his murderers have not been arrested yet. The Kurdistan Regional Government and security forces have not released any information concerning his assassination so far. The PKK Martyrs' Families Committee will not remain silent and indifferent towards his murder. We strongly condemn the security forces which conceal the relevant documents. We announce that we will continue our protest until the murderers of martyr Şükrü Serhed are identified, and the betrayal is revealed.”
