Cizre State Hospital staff has been locked in a room as police brought bodies of slain people after reports of killing of 60 people in a basement as a result of an operation by Turkish forces. Bodies reportedly belong to the wounded people who were apparently executed Sunday evening in the basement where they had taken shelter and waiting to be rescued from for days.

According to reports, Turkish police have started to bring corpses to Cizre State Hospital tonight.

On the other hand, reports say that police had taken a number of body bags from the hospital early Sunday morning, which strengthens doubts over a mass execution planned in advance.

Pictures released by social media accounts run by Turkish police, purportedly from the scene of the operation, show a body completely burnt, and 2 others entirely covered with dust.
