Combatants of Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) are continuing the operation to liberate ISIS-occupied areas in southern Kobanê since 23 December.

While the operation continues successfully, QSD forces have taken the Tishrin Dam under their control.

As the joint Syrian Democratic Forces continue making advances in the area, 13 ISIS members hiding themselves among villagers have been captured alive today.

12 of the ISIS members, who were in civilian clothes to avoid being recognized, were captured in Denedewşan village and one other during ongoing clashes in Mount Girêdan near the Euphrates.
