Amid ongoing clashes within the zone of the operation, QSD forces are advancing in a controlled manner due to the mines heavily planted by gangs in the region.

The Arab-inhabited village of Seharic Cibal was the first one to be cleared of gangs since yesterday evening, which was followed by the liberation of Sahric El Cebad, Ebeydat, Miruha, El Mensiya villages and 2 hamlets affiliated to them. The cited villages are mainly populated by Arabs and Kurds.

International coalition aircraft also started to shell the locations of gang groups as of late night hours in a coordination with QSD forces on the ground.
