The third Spring Festival of Rojava University students began with the participation of hundreds of students and teachers.

The third Spring Festival of Rojava University students began today with the heartfelt participation of hundreds of teachers and students from Rojava University and other universities across the region.

Painters and writers showcased their work at the festival, while teachers and students organized cooking, poetry, and singing competitions. The winners of these contests will be awarded on the final day of the festival, which is scheduled for tomorrow.

Rojîn Yûsif, a member of the Qamishlo Student Assembly, stated during the festival’s opening that the celebration was made possible through the sacrifices of the martyrs.

On the first day of the festival, where numerous student-made paintings were exhibited, artist Stêrvan Bozo performed traditional folkloric songs, and seven different groups prepared a variety of dishes.

Held every April at Rojava University, the festival spans two days, and will end today.
