The situation of the wounded people waiting for an ambulance in the basement of a building for the past 12 days, and the lack of communication with these people over the past four days, brings to mind the question of whether these wounded people were executed.
HDP parliamentarian Faysal Sarıyıldız said that the state was using the armed conflict as an excuse for a crime against humanity, and that the basement was no different than Hitler’s gas chambers.
The lack of communication with the 15 wounded people, 7 slain and 9 exhausted civilians waiting to be rescued in the basement of a building in the Cudi neighborhood of Şırnak’s Cizre district over the past 4 days increases the doubts over whether these people have been executed. State forces’ pretention of an armed confrontation in order to prevent mothers, volunteer medics and municipal ambulances is one of the factors that increase the aforementioned doubts. It has been reported that a digger construction machine approached the building yesterday evening, but the exact direction and goal of the digger remains unknown.
‘EXCUSE FOR A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY’
HDP Şırnak parliamentarian Faysal Sarıyıldız pointed out that the 10 women, some of whom are the mothers of the wounded people, who reached the yard of the building 3 days ago invalidated state forces’ excuse that the building was impossible to reach due to an armed confrontation. Sarıyıldız noted that mothers spoke of armed vehicles right next to the building, and that there was no obstacle in the way of removing the wounded from the area. He stated that the state was trying to come up with an excuse for its crime against humanity, and criticized both state officials and several news outlets for their manipulative statements suggesting that there were armed people inside and around the building.
‘NO DIFFERENT THAN HITLER’S GAS CHAMBERS’
Sarıyıldız described the events as the savagery of the 21st century, and said that the basement was no different than Hitler’s gas chambers. HDP deputy noted that the people responsible for this tragedy would be brought to account, and called upon everyone to not be silent in the face of savagery threatening the lives of civilians.
