HDP deputy Faysal Sarıyıldız who is in the town of Cizre since the beginning of the most recent curfew has written an article for ANF regarding the massacre of dozens by Turkish forces.

We hereby publish the English version of the article by HDP deputy for Şırnak;

We do not think that TRT reported the news of '60 terrorists killed in Cizre' outside the government's knowledge. They deliberately announced that figure, through which they led to a shock among the Kurdish people and sensitive public opinion. They later lowered this number to 10 in an effort to normalize the mass murder.

THEY WILL ANNOUNCE THE DEATH TOLL IN PIECES

We have no information available as to how many people have died. Still, there are two facts known by now;

1. A massacre definitely took place in Cizre

2. We guess the death toll to be higher than 10 announced by Şırnak Governor's Office.

I am of the opinion that they will announce the death toll in pieces in accordance with the fabrication of a fighting in the area. In order to justify this massacre, both the government and AKP media has circulated all kinds of fabricated and distorted news for days with regards to the basement of atrocity and the other house recently set on fire.

Prime Minister points to the statement of Şırnak Governor's Office regarding the death toll, but we rely neither the governor nor TRT news and AKP media that have resorted to all kinds of lie and trick in order to massacre the truth in Cizre. The Prime Minister should then tell us on which source TRT News, which is an official institution affiliated to the Prime Ministry, grounded its report on the killing of 60 people.

CİZRE MASSACRE IS AN ALLIANCE OF AKP-SPECIAL WARFARE DEPARTMENT

We know it is not a coincidence that TRT report was followed by the circulation of related photos by some social media accounts run by instruments of this war. The trending TT ‘60 leş’ [60 carcasses] has revealed the collective hysteria born by a large part of this society. AKP is the architecture of this racist and fascist frame of mind. Which fraternity will you achieve with this frame of mind? You have massacred fraternity in Cizre. We have come to the point of feeling ashamed to speak of peace, our most blessed term, to the face of the people. For the past 56 days, Cizre has witnessed any kind of atrocity one would feel ashamed of in the name of humanity. It would be a major political fallacy to see this atrocity as a local practice of forces out of control. The massacre and atrocity in Cizre was realized by an alliance of AKP and Special Warfare Department with an intention to intimidate the whole society through a singular case. The massacre in Cizre is a work of the alliance formed by those who burned people to death in Güçlükonak in 1996, and those who bombed 34 Kurds in Roboski. This truth must be known this way. We know very well that perpetrators of massacres against Kurdish people during the 90's have been sent to Cizre, Silopi and Sur today.
