Members of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Hewlêr Daretu Daretu Committee are among the many people who have been taken into custody in Hewlêr (Erbil), Southern Kurdistan amid ongoing protests against the government in several cities.

The detainees are accused of supporting the anti-government demonstrations and writing against the government of Kurdistan region.
