Shehba Assembly calls for action against Turkish invasion

Shehba Assembly condemned the Turkish state's attacks on Shehba and Manbij, calling on revolutionary forces to act and the international community to put pressure on Turkey.

Shehba Executive Assembly released a statement regarding the Turkish state's increasingly ongoing attacks on Shehba and Manbij.

The statement said the following:

As a result of its deal with international forces, the Turkish state is breaching international laws by invading Northern Syria-Rojava lands in order to realize its plans over the blood of Syrian peoples. The Turkish state is supporting terrorist groups since the beginning of the Syrian revolution. Making an effort to create an ethnic and sectarian conflict, the Turkish state intends to occupy the whole Syrian territory, and this is why it is invading the lands of Shehba and Iraq.

The AKP/ISIS dictatorship project led by Erdoğan resorted to forming a new structure after their defeat by the Syrian Democratic Forces, and launched an aggression extending from Jarablus to Bab by gathering all the gangs under the name of 'Euphrates Shield'.

It is known to everyone that the areas under bombardment are inhabited by mainly Kurds. Gang groups have committed massacres against the Kurds and they have done everything possible to displace the local Kurds. In order to found a new Ottoman state, they gathered all the gangs around the world and made them attack the region.

The recently increasing attacks on Bab, Manbij and Bab Military Council are an indication of the agreement between the Turkish state and ISIS. These attacks are being carried out because Turkey knows that the cantons of Efrîn and Kobanê will be unified and the AKP/ISIS plans will be frustrated with the liberation of Bab."

Shehba Executive Assembly condemned the Turkish state's attacks on Shehba and Manbij, and called on international forces to put pressure on Turkey in order for the retreat of Turkish troops from Northern-Syria Rojava lands.

Shehba Executive Assembly stressed that they as Kurdish, Arab and Syriac peoples in Shehba region will not remain silent on Turkish invasion, and that revolutionary forces should put up strong resistance against this invasion.
