Shengal people salute the self-rule resistance in North Kurdistan

Êzîdî people living on Mount Shengal have staged a march to protest the Turkish state's massacres against civilians and salute the self-rule resistance in Bakurê (North) Kurdistan.

Êzîdî people living on Mount Shengal have staged a march to protest the Turkish state's massacres against civilians and salute the self-rule resistance in Bakurê (North) Kurdistan.

The demo was joined by hundreds of people carrying banners of YPS and YPS/Jin (Civil Defense Units / Women) members martyred in the fight.

HPŞ (Hêzên Parastina Şengal/Shengal Defense Forces) Commander Heyder Şeşo, who also joined the demo, called attention to the importance of popular resistance to the resistance of self-rule that endures for over 2 months now.

Şeso said this resistance was a part of entire Kurdistan, and called on everyone to put pressure on international powers in order to ensure the ending of the unconscionable attacks by the Turkish state.
