As the self-administration resistance in Şırnak enters its 71st day, Turkish army tanks and panzers have been shelling neighborhoods constantly since last night. Many tanks and panzers positioned at the entrances of Bahçelievler, Yeni Mahalle, İsmetpaşa, Gazipaşa and Aydınlıkevler neighborhoods have been bombarding houses as the intense clashes between YPS/YPS-JIN members and state forces continue.

State forces have set many houses in İsmetpaşa, Cumhuriyet and Gazipaşa neighborhoods, and destroyed the area with armored diggers.

Many helicopters were seen taking off from the Çakırsöğüt Gendarme Brigade Command this morning, and drones and helicopters continue to fly over the city’s center and suburbs.
