HDP Ankara MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder was detained in Turkish capital Ankara and taken to Amed within the scope of the operation against Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) last night.

Önder was taken to Diyarbakır Courthouse where he gave his statement, and he was later referred to court with a demand for his arrest.
