After Cizre and Silopi districts of Şırnak, yet another curfew has been imposed in Nusaybin district of Mardin today.
A related statetement by Mardin Governor's Office said that the curfew will go into effect in Abdulkadirpaşa, Yenişehir, Dicle and Fırat neighborhoods of the district as of 16:00 this afternoon.
The curfew was also announced from armored police vehicles patrolling in the district, claiming that it has been imposed "for the people's security of life and property".
A total of 17 civilians have lost their lives as a result of attacks by state forces in Nusaybin during the 5 curfews placed in the district in recent months.
The most recent curfew which lasted 4 days and was lifted on 11 December, claimed the lives of M. Emin İnan, Fehime Aktı, Cudi Teber, Mahsum Akdoğan, Hakan Doğan and Bilal Erdoğan.
