Soldiers at the Durak outpost near the village of Dûrê in Hakkari’s Şemdinli district shot at and injured 3 civilians, one of whom remains in critical condition. The injured civilians Sadık Bahadır, Seyfettin Kılıçoğlu and Ziyap Özer were taken to Şemdinli State Hospital, and doctors are operating on the critically-injured Ziyap Özer.

Scuffles broke out between villagers and soldiers after the soldiers’ attack, and special operations police officers encircled the hospital, which is crowded by the relatives of the civilians attacked by Turkish soldiers.
