Turkish state forces have started to attack Yeni neighborhood of Hakkari's Gever (Yüksekova) district Sunday noon.

Making efforts to enter the neighborhood with armored military vehicles, Turkish military and police forces are opening random fire on streets and barricades in side streets.

People are in the meantime gathering at Mala Gel (People's House) where they have started to wage resistance against the aggression which is going on.
