YPS forces’ resistance continues against attacks in Mardin's Nusaybin district where the popular resistance reaches its 9th day after a curfew was declared.

State forces retreat and continue shelling the neighborhoods with artilery and mortars as they fail to advance in 9 days. Sporadic gunfire could be heard in the resistance neighborhoods throughout the night, and mortar fire has started again in the morning. While one house in Fırat neighborhood caught fire after being hit by a mortar shell, fire brigade wasn’t allowed through to the area. In the meantime, frequent dispatching to the neighborhoods with armored vehicles continues. Ambulance activity was also spotted after some scattered explosions. Ford Ranger type vehicles were frequently seen going towards neighborhoods of resistance.

Meanwhile special operations police are still using Nusaybin Indoor Gym on Midyat Road as their headquarters. Several buses full of special operations police can be seen entering the gym daily, and the Ford Rangers have been spotted going in and out of the gym continuously.

The attacks focus on Fırat, Abdulkadirpaşa, Yenişehir and Dicle neighborhoods in Nusaybin. YPS and YPS-JIN forces continue their heavy retaliation against tank, artillery, mortar and heavy weaponry attacks.
