Turkish forces last night set fire to many houses and shops on Alanya and Adile Naşit Streets of Şırnak's İdil district which remains under a state of siege for 22 days.

Fire squads affiliated to İdil and Cizre municipalities managed to take the fire under control, yet the fire greatly damaged the houses and workplaces.

State forces have also set fire to an apartment on the 3rd floor of a building on Alanya Street this morning. Fire in the building continues.
