State of Emergency extended in Amed

“Curfews” have been declared in 25 villages in Amed’s Lice, Hani, Hazro, Kulp and Silvan districts.

The military operations launched yesterday in the triangle of Amed’s Lice, Hani and Silvan districts continue today. Several houses were placed under curfews in line with the operations.

The villages placed under curfew by the orders of the Diyarbakır Governorate are:

Şenlik, Birlik, Erginköy, Elmadere, Oyuklu, Kutlu, Türeli villages in Lice. Yukarıturalı, Akçayurt, Kaledibi, Damlatepe villages in Hani. Üçbasamak, Çaldere, Keklikdere, Görentepe, Bayırdüzü, Dağcılar ve Dolaplıdere villages in Silvan. Taşköprü, Temren, Bakırköy and Demirli villages in Kulp and Ülgen, Mutluca and Bayırdüzü villages in Hazro.

BOMBING IN LİCE

Following the curfew, thousands of special operations units were dispatched from Amed to Lice escorted by armored vehicles. 5 checkpoints for people and vehicles have been established on all roads leading to the district since yesterday. Lice’s rural villages not under curfew also faced aerial bombings last night until the morning. Human shields have left for the district.
