Responses to the Turkish state massacre in a basement in Cizre continue. Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) Foreign Relations Co-President Abdulselam Ehmed condemned the AKP massacre in Cizre and called upon all Kurds to resist the attacks of the Turkish state.

Ehmed recalled Turkey’s history of genocidal attacks and called upon international human rights associations to intervene in the massacres carried out by the AKP. Ehmed noted that Turkish state forces have been attacking civilians in Cizre with tanks, artillery, and bullets, and called upon international human rights defenders to fulfill their duties.

TEV-DEM representative invited all four parts of Kurdistan to resist AKP’s genocidal attacks, and said that all Kurds should take their protests to the streets in order to bring an end to the attacks of the Turkish state. Ehmed also saluted Kurdish people’s resistance for self-governance.
