Tevgera Azadî Co-President Mihemed Ebdulla and his delegation published a written statement to condemn the attack on Saturday in Duhok against People's Democracy Front's candidate, Kamûran Berwarî.

Berwarî, who is a candidate in the New Generation List and at the same time is co-chair of the Democratic Front of the People, suffered an attack while canvassing in Duhok.  
Tevgera Azadî Co-President reminded that the candidate was attacked by a group affiliated to the KDP while he was meeting with the people during his election campaign. 

Co-Chairman Mihemed Ebdulla, condemning the attack, said: "Our friends and the New Generation List candidates were attacked because they were warmly welcomed by the people of Behdinan. This is also a sign that there are some forces working to distract these elections, unable to cope with the fact they are to be beaten in Behdinan. Dr.  Berwarî was attacked because they saw that he will receive a good vote in Behradin. "

Tevgera Azadî will not step back in any way because of the attack on their friends. The statement continued: "Our friends should know that we will not leave this region so the Governing Power could do as it desires. We want that our loved people of Behdinan use this election to have their saying and show what they think of the 27-year-old tyranny  they have been forced to live under".
