“The new government should take responsibility against invasion”

Hasim Mufid protested the Kurdistan Region’s silence against the Turkish state’s invasion attacks and said, “The Kurdistan Regional Government remains silent because of their special interests. The new government’s cabinet must take responsibility."

Political observer in Hewler Mufid Hasim spoke to RojNews about the Turkish state’s invasion attacks against Bashur.

Mufid Hasim said there is a need for a mechanism in Iraq and the Kurdistasn Regional Government to prevent Turkish state’s invasion attacks: “There is the security commission in the Iraqi Parliament against the invasion. The Kurdistan Regional Government has the Peshmerga Commission. They must work to stop the invasion. Unfortunately, the international community still acts deaf dumb and blind in the face of the Turkish state violations.”

The Turkish state has increased their invasion attacks against Bashur every day, but the Kurdistan Regional Government remains silent. Mufid Hasim protested the KRG’s silence in the face of the attacks and said: “The government remains silent because of their special interests. Because of the silence of the government and the authorities, the Kurdish people’s problems are not resolved.”

Mufid Hasim said the new government’s cabinet must take responsbility at once to stop the invasion attacks and added: “The new cabinet must have a plan and a program. It must not be like the previous cabinet. We hope the new government will be a hope for all parts of Kurdistan.”
