Hüsna Arslan was able to bury her son but is still waiting to find her daughter's body.
Hüsna Arslan has lost two of the eight children she raised with a great effort during the siege of Cizre, a district in Şırnak province.
While Sait was buried, the body of Hacer has yet to be given to her family.
Hüsna Arslan is waiting for the day when she would be able to get Hacer's body, who lost her life in one of the basements of atrocity where dozens of people were left to die amid continued bombardments and denial of access for ambulances.
Arslan, like hundreds of women, had a heavy burden to carry since her childhood. She grew up in a village on the outskirts and was married when she was just 13.
Arslan's childhood ended there, when she was supposed to be still playing out in the streets with her friends, and instead she was pregnant with her first child.
Arslan moved to Cizre while she was pregnant with her son Sait. The family made a living from collecting cotton as seasonal agricultural workers.
They had eight children. Arslan lost two during the Cizre curfew in 2015-16.
Arslan said that they go to the Khabur Border Gate to identify the body of her brother Selim.
She said: "I did identify Selim when I went in. But I was feeling dizzy after any corpse I saw".
She lost her two children in the basements in Cizre. She was able to bury her son Sait, but her daughter's body has not been given to them. One other daughter gave blood to try and identify Hacer's body.
"The pain I have suffered for the last 3 years is more than the pain I suffered in my entire life", said Aslan.
