Three soldiers killed in intensified clashes in Çarçela

Three soldiers have been killed during intensified clashes in Çarçela area of guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory.

Turkish army launched an air-supported operation on Çarçela area of guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory yesterday.

Clashes ongoing between guerrillas and soldiers in the operation zone have intensified at around 14:00 Sunday afternoon. Three soldiers were killed in these clashes.

In the face of the resistance of guerrillas, Turkish troops cannot make advance and they remain stuck in the area into which they were airdropped with helicopters.

In the meantime, Turkish fighter jets are bombing the area of clashes ceaselessly since yesterday.
