While the death toll in Cizre massacre still remains unclear, 13 victims of the mass murder committed by state forces in three basements couldn't be identified.

The 13 unidentified corpses had been held in Şırnak State Hospital for post-mortem examination for nearly two weeks. Three of these were retrieved from the hospital morgue upon Şırnak Governorate's order in accordance with a recent amendment in the Forensic Medicine Institution regulation. The three victims were later buried in Nasırhan Cemetery in the Dêrgul (Kumçatı) town of Şırnak.

The remaining 10 unidentified corpses are expected to be buried in the coming days.
