Three wounded during police raid on a house in Van – UPDATE
Police forces raided a house in Van province last night. Clash erupted in the house and two people inside were taken outside wounded and naked. One other person around was also wounded.
Police forces raided a house in Van province last night. Clash erupted in the house and two people inside were taken outside wounded and naked. One other person around was also wounded.
Turkish police forces surrounded a house in Xaçort neighborhood in Van's central İpekyolu district last night. Armored vehicles supported by Cobra helicopters started to rake through the house, which resulted in a clash that lasted hours. Two people in the house were eventually taken our of the house wounded.
Witnesses said two youths inside the house were entirely stripped off and special operations teams took them outside by battering both. The two youths were later forced into an armored vehicle and taken away. It is not known who these youths are and where they were taken to.
In the meantime, another youth by the name of Mustafa Duman who was on the balcony of his house nearby during the clash, was also wounded as a result of fire opened from armored vehicles. Duman's family rushed him to hospital and he is reported to be remaining in critical condition.
