After the recent liberation of the strategic Tishrin Dam and its surroundings, Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) are continuing the second round of their military operations against ISIS in the southern countryside of Kobanê town.

YPG (People's Defense Units) led Syrian Democratic Forces first took control of the Tishrin dam and then liberated it entirely Saturday evening, upon which they crossed over to the western bank of Euphrates where they are making further advances since.

QSD combatants entered Tishrin town Sunday noon, and have liberated entirely this afternoon. Mop-up operations in the town are going on.
