The Çakırsöğüt Gendarmerie Brigade Command in Şırnak city centre was shaken by consecutive explosions on Wednesday.

While the triple explosion started a fire in the surrounding forest area, anti-riot police vehicles and 22 fire trucks were dispatched to the scene to fight the flames. Reports say that two soldiers were injured in the fire.

The governor of Şırnak, Osman Bilgin, claimed that the fire broke out after ammunition caught fire and detonated during maintenance services due to personnel negligence.
