Siirt's Pervari district governor Murat Kahraman has been assigned trustee to the DBP-held municipality of Beğendik town following the arrest of the co-mayor Dijwar Ulaş.

As many as 83 municipalities held by the Democratic Regions' Party (DBP) have been usurped by the government so far.
