Van’s Muradiye District Municipality Co-mayor Dr. Mehmet Ali Tunç who was detained in a raid on the municipality building yesterday, has been replaced by the district governor Mehmet Fatih Çelikel today.

Police forces raided the municipality today noon and announced that the district governor has been appointed trustee to take over the administration, and also started to conduct a search in the building.
